Retail Soup Reheating Instructions
Traditional Method:
Pull soup from freezer 2-3 days before needed and place in refrigerator.
Let completely thaw under refrigeration
Reheat on stove in appropriate size pot under medium heat making sure to stir frequently.
Soup is ready to serve after it reaches 145 degrees.
Check temperature by placing calibrated meat thermometer into soup making sure not to touch sides or bottom of pot.
Microwave Method:
You may place frozen soup in microwave, but be sure to set microwave on proper defrost setting.
Do not try to reheat soup until completely thawed. When micowaving make sure to loosen lid and stir frequently throughout process. Soup must reach internal temperature of 145 degrees before serving. Only place one container in microwave at a time, except for the 12 oz containers which can be microwaved 2 to 3 at a time.
Although all of our soups come ready to serve, feel free to season and thicken to your liking, telling your friends and family that you made them yourself!
